Whistleblowing policy

This Privacy Policy sets out how Moneywave Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter referred to as "Moneywave") will handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA 2010") and the laws of Malaysia. 1. Purpose

To uphold its commitment to exemplary corporate governance, Moneywave Sdn Bhd (MwSB) has implemented a Whistleblowing Policy. This policy enables employees, vendors, counterparties, suppliers, agents, and members of the public to report any alleged misconduct, irregularities, or malpractices within MwSB.

Concerns regarding illegal, unethical, or questionable practices may be reported confidentially and without fear of reprisal.

2. Scope of Whistleblowing

This Policy outlines the procedures for disclosing, reporting, and investigating misconduct within the Company. It also details the protections provided to individuals making such disclosures against any detrimental action, in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act 2010

This Policy applies to MwSB employees, Board members, and other relevant stakeholders.

The following matters may be reported under this Policy:

  • Corruption and bribery
  • Fraud
  • Illegal or criminal activities
  • Breaches of criminal or civil laws
  • Theft
  • Non-compliance with policies and procedures
  • Sexual harassment
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Misuse of position or information
  • Forgery
  • Misuse of MwSB's property or assets
  • Other unethical behaviour

3. Protection for Whistleblowers

This Policy establishes a secure and structured framework that enables employees and other individuals to raise concerns, including anonymously. It provides assurance that all reported matters will be independently reviewed, appropriately addressed, and reported to the Board Audit Committee (BAC).

Whistleblowers who make reports in good faith will be protected against any form of retaliation, victimisation, or detrimental action.
